Individuals

Individual therapy is focused on creating space to analyze and gain insight to oneself, validate the experiences while also identifying areas of difficulty and giving practical ways to address life’s challenges. Typical sessions are driven by each individual’s needs with a therapist partner who will give direct and honest reflection for sustaining therapy goals.

Relational

Relational therapy, typically called couples but can include a variety of relationship types, focuses in on communication, trust, repair, and joy. Typical sessions include allowing space for identifying specific sources of discomfort and practice for how to make and sustain relational shifts. Often there will be a focus on how to apply insight gained in between sessions.

Family

Parenting Therapy assists caregivers feel confident in parenting and knowing how to support the unique needs of each child. Integrating knowledge of children’s mental health with over 15 years of experience, Gottman Method bringing home baby course and co-parenting therapy to create unique plans for your family.

Mollie Yocum, LCSW, LICSW

Pacifica Mental Health is operated by Mollie Yocum MSW, LCSW, LICSW. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and who has been providing therapy since 2012 and support for children and families navigating systems since 2007.

She has experience with clients across the lifespan and presenting with a wide variety of concerns, she is a systemic therapist, meaning she views each of us as existing within various systems - family systems, cultural systems, social systems, political systems - all of which impact who we are, how we think, and the ways we behave.

In session, you can expect it to feel structured, but relaxed. You will find that each session is set up similarly, but flexible with what is needed week to week. In sessions, she welcome humor and authenticity, challenging and respect. Clients typically express feeling able to show up as yourself in a judgement free space and end the session feeling more settled and hopeful.

Her theoretical framework is process oriented and she will work with you to build insight and understanding and build upon the strengths you already have to address the issues you are facing. Therefore you can expect an eclectic approach to fit your specific needs however, will typically draw from narrative, collaborative, attachment, and developmental theories of therapy.

For all other insurance providers, I partner with Thrizer to help people utilize out of network insurance benefits. Using out of network benefits can hopefully support making therapy more affordable and Thrizer can hopefully streamline this process.

For 50 minute sessions:

  • Individual therapy sessions: $200

  • Couples/Family therapy sessions: $250

  • Co-parenting after separation or divorce: $300

The No Surprises Act applies to mental health services. If you would like an estimate of the cost of services, it will be provided.
